BUILDING OUR REALITY
The challenge in this project was to create housing for students and professors in Ciudad Universitaria (CU), the only rule was that the entire project had to be of 1,000,000 m2.

The team identified the Olympic stadium and the "Espacio Escultórico" as the two most significant places of the campus. This is because they are the highest and lowest points of CU and also because of their shape: a circle. Locating the circles, secondary tangential rings were drawn to connect them, resulting in a curvy line with a passageway that goes through all the project interacting with the buildings at the level where they merge.

The buildings were placed radially changing in scale depending on the zone and user they are destined to. This creates a new level for the inhabitants to develop new ways of living and coexist with others in CU.

As a result, the project has three different types of housing, depending on the user of each zone from CU. But, giving the people somewhere to live is not the only idea of this proposal. This project tries to connect CU so then people would be able to travel from one zone to another in an easier way than they do today.
